Data Stacks is SBU Libraries’ workshop series for building practical data skills, led by Ahmad Pratama, Data Literacies Lead.
In this hands-on session, participants will learn the fundamentals of data visualization using R in a Positron environment with an RStudio-style workflow. The workshop covers how to choose appropriate chart types, create clear and effective visualizations using packages such as ggplot2, and refine visual design to communicate insights accurately and avoid common pitfalls.
