We are at a truly transformative moment for research libraries and
scholarly publishers. The rise of new technologies grounded in
artificial intelligence present themselves in a challenging
sociopolitical period for higher education. These forces have pressed
libraries and publishers to reexamine strategies and resourcing
approaches in areas as diverse as research integrity and trust in
science, and distinctive collections and scholarly publishing. This
talk will examine some strategies for libraries and publishers and
consider where shared approaches, including shared infrastructure, can
be beneficial.
