The April 10 “Art of the Violin,” concert featured graduate students of Professor Jennifer Fraustchi from the Department of Music. Works by Niccolò Paganini, Reena Esmail, J.S. Bach, Eugène-Auguste Ysaÿe, Clara Schumann, and Franz Schubert delighted passersby and was enjoyed by listeners seated for the entire program. A second hour allowed for the extended repertory and gave people who are usually unavailable at 1 pm a chance to hear some of the performers. Our thanks to Chieh-An Yu, Melanie Riordan, Ruoying Pan, Briana Tang, Tong Chen, Shiqi Yang, Hudson Ye Hyung Chung, Owen Dodds, and the award-winning Hesper Quartet: Sojeong Kim, Ye Jin Yoon, SoHui Yun, and Connor Kim, for their superlative performances!
