As a result of a collaboration with the Office of the Vice President for Research, the Department of Information Technology, University Libraries, and our researchers, Stony Brook University is pleased to announce that it is now an ORCiD (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) member institution.
SBU now offers to researchers, faculty, staff and students an easy interface to create an ORCID ID and to take advantage of ORCiD’s many integration features.
ORCiD is a non-profit global organization that supports reliable connections between researchers, their outputs and their affiliations by providing a unique, persistent identifier for individuals to use in their research and scholarship.
The Stony Brook University Libraries have created this research guide to familiarize the SBU community with ORCiD!
Look for informational sessions and workshops in the upcoming weeks! In the meantime, please contact Mona Ramonetti (West Campus) or Jessica Koos (East Campus) with any questions.
