This internship provides experience with developing training material and online content for an in-house training program and creating promotional materials such as social media and blog posts. The development of the training program is in its early stages. This will provide the intern with an experience for input into an evolving series of projects that will shape how users interact with the training program in the future. Interns will have the opportunity to participate in other library activities based on their professional interests and/or skills. This is an unpaid internship. (summer 2023 and fall 2023)
Projects may include:
- Creating online assignments, tutorials, and videos using educational technology such as Camtasia, VoiceThread, Brightspace, among others.
Prerequisites: Experience with creating content; interest in education and/or instruction - Testing online training modules and providing honest and constructive feedback
Prerequisites: Experience with using online tools like Blackboard, Brightspace - Publicity and outreach: help design promotional material for online training
Prerequisites: research and writing skills
This internship is flexible, between 10-15 hours a week between the hours of 12pm-8pm Monday-Friday.
