Seating is limited to 10 participants. This course is only open to current SBU faculty, staff, and students. Completion of Pt 2 Intro to ArcGIS for Georectification recommended. Registration required.
Once a scanned map has been converted to a digital format and georectified, the possibilities for presentation as part of a rich multimedia web page begin. This workshop will give a basic step-by-step introduction to using ArcGIS StoryMaps to create compelling digital stories using a customized interactive map enriched with text, photos, video and more. See how your maps can illustrate spatial relationships in your data to give greater context for your audience. (We will be using the new version of ArcGIS StoryMaps, so those familiar with classic Esri StoryMaps may be interested in what’s new!)
