On Tuesday January 16 between 8am-9am, Stony Brook University Libraries is migrating to a cloud based EZproxy service that will allow users to seamlessly access library resources from anywhere
We anticipate one hour of downtime for electronic resources access using EZproxy weblinks.
If you require access while on-campus, you can go directly to the e-resources without Ezproxy.
EZProxy provides access to library materials through NetID sign-in even while off-campus. Resources on the library’s A-Z Databases List and the library catalog will have links affected by this update. During the EZProxy downtime, you can still access library materials while on campus by removing the proxy information from a URL. For example, the proxied URL for AccessMedicine is https://accessmedicine-mhmedical-com.proxy.library.stonybrook.edu/. To reach this site during the downtime, use the URL https://accessmedicine.mhmedical.com instead. While the proxy is being updated, access to library resources will not be available from off-campus.
