You are all invited to the second lecture in the Lecture Series of the Office of Global Library Initiatives entitled “Ancient Documents Services at the Shanghai Normal University Library.” The talk will be given by Dr. Long Zhao, who is a visiting scholar at Stony Brook University Libraries. It will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 18, 2015 in Classroom 1, Health Sciences Library.Please pass along this information to students, faculty and staff who may be interested in this special event.
About the speaker: Long Zhao is an ancient documents librarian at Shanghai Normal University Library, Shanghai, China. He has held this position since July 2010. Presently, he is a visiting scholar at Stony Brook University Libraries. His research areas focus on Song Dynasty history and ancient documents. His credentials include three published books and nine articles. Dr. Zhao earned a BA in history from Fuyan Normal College in Anhui, China, MA and PhD in history from Shanghai Normal University.
