Innovation Lab to Demo 3D Printing in the HSC Library

Starting January 19th, the Innovation Lab will be staffing a table in the foyer of the Health Sciences Library.  The Innovation Lab staff will be demonstrating their 3d printing technology and how it can apply to health and medicine.  They will also be providing information about the many other services offered at their full facility.

The 1,200-square-foot Innovation Lab, located in Harriman Hall, Room 210, is filled with 3D printers, green screens, video cameras, computers, vinyl cutters and even a sewing machine. The space opened in February 2015 and gives inventive students a place to explore their creative nature while it teaches them necessary skills through a series of workshops on different types of equipment and programs used by inventors. It is a place in which innovators from all over campus can collaborate to develop ideas into actual products.
