Spring Break: the perfect time for gaming in the library!

For those of us who will be remaining on campus during the upcoming Spring Break, things will be a little more relaxed.  The campus crowds will be gone, classes will not be in session, and parking will be the best it’s been since January 25th!  There will be time to borrow DVDs from our film collection on the 3rd floor of the Main Stacks, time to fit in some pleasure reading with a book (that’s not required for your course) from the free book exchange program in the 1st floor Central Reading Room, and even library versions of your favorite board games – Where’s Wolfie? (Clue) and Not So Trivia Pursuit (well, you know which game that’s modeled after).  These games can be checked out with your SBU ID at the Reference Desk in the Central Reading Room.  Play in the room while there is plenty of seating available or take it outdoors if the weather is nice to get some sun with your friends on the Staller lawn.

Other popular games such as Battleship, Scattergories, Sorry, and more are also available for your convenience. Please be responsible with these games and all their pieces and be sure to keep the noise level to a minimum in our quiet study areas!
