SBU Libraries’ Southampton Library Says Goodbye to Summer with Six-Word Stories.

The SBU Southampton Library recently brought a popular activity back for an encore: the six-word story. Since the first project’s theme was “Spring”, we decided to keep the seasonal cycle going with “Summer”. Our students had a lot to say without many words to say it. We received many creative submissions and shared some of our favorites via social media. Just like last time, this experience made us laugh, reflect, and enjoy the swapping of unique thoughts. Here are some of our favorite submissions that we have recently shared. These projects have become so popular that students should definitely be on the lookout for “Autumn” and/or “Fall”.

Some are fun…

Some show how hard our students work.

Some testify to a great summer passed.

We enjoy these projects each time we do them. We are always eager to capture these moments from our creative community! If you have an idea for a community-sourced activity, please share it with us.
