Student staff make up an essential part of the SBU Libraries community. Working on the ‘front lines’ of the library, they are often responsible for assisting patrons, providing circulation services, and much more.
In order to highlight these contributions to the library, SBU Libraries is proud to present #StudentStaffSpotlight, a weekly post featuring a student staff member. Posts will go out on our social media pages (Facebook, Twitter) as well as the digital displays throughout the library, so keep an eye out for the week’s featured student!
Student staff wishing to participate are encouraged to email either Michael Bartolomeo (Michael.Bartolomeo@stonybrook.edu) or Kathleen Maxheimer (Kathleen.Maxheimer@stonybrook.edu) with a few pictures of yourself, Name, Major, Graduation Year, Where you work in the library, a tip for using the library, and anything else you would like to include!
