North Reading Room Student Art Show

Stop by the new student art exhibit now open on the second floor of North Reading Room in Melville Library. This themed art show will be up through the end of the spring semester and focuses on Black History Month, Women’s History Month and the environment.  The five artists featured are Yong Ja Hong, Sabrina Daysie Huancayo, Sijia Lu, Alexandra Rivera and Xinyu Wu.

Daniel Donato, a Stony Brook undergraduate student, has been organizing group art exhibitions around campus for the past three years.  His main purpose is to welcome both graduate and undergraduate students of all majors to display their artistic abilities in spaces throughout campus.  For art students, it is an opportunity to display their art work in parts of the campus outside the art department where visitors such as staff, faculty and students can view what current art is being created at Stony Brook University.  Thank you to Daniel for curating another wonderful show!
