This Just In!- News Resources for Journalism Students

This week, the Melville Library welcomes the participants of the 2015 Greene Team, a School of Journalism “boot camp” for high school  journalists. For these budding journalists and for more  seasoned Stony Brook journalism students, SBU Libraries  is the place to go for resources on news and journalism. Our news databases provide on campus and remote access to a huge variety of contemporary and historical news sources, such as The Wall Street Journal and New York Times (Historical), as well as thousands of news sources available through LexisNexisAcademic. Look to our Subject & Research Guides for topics such as Long Island Newspapers, and SBU News and Media Sources.  And if you prefer your news content “old school,” the Central Reading Room of the Melville Library also offers current print copies of many national, international and local newspapers and magazines.
